Tanzania Private Health Sector Assessment

On February 26, 2013, SHOPS and the International Finance Corporation's Health in Africa Initiative disseminated the findings from a private health sector assessment conducted in Tanzania. Working with the Tanzanian Ministry of Health, the assessment team identified opportunities for an expanded private sector role in addressing national health needs. The launch took place during the East African Healthcare Federation Scientific Conference that occurred earlier this week in Dar es Salaam. A brief version of the report and a draft of the full-length version are available on the SHOPS website.
