Regards sur la Planification Familiale et la Santé de la Reproduction en Milieu Urbain Sénégalais (Fr) / Perspectives on Family Planning and Reproductive Health in Urban Senegal (Eng)

This report uses data from the Senegal Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) conducted in Senegal in 1992/93, 1997, 2005, and 2010/2011 to describe levels and trends of key indicators for the supply and demand of family planning, fertility, reproductive health, and maternal and child health outcomes with a focus on urban Senegal. It is intended to expand the knowledge base on urban reproductive health in Senegal and to help programs design effective interventions to increase use of modern contraceptives by the urban poor. The full technical working paper in French and the translated executive summary in English are available below.
