PMA2020 Results from Kinshasa, DRC (Eng/Fr)

Findings from the first round of the Performance Monitoring and Accountability 2013 (PMA2013) survey carried out in Kinshasa, capital of Democratic Republic of the Congo, show modest gains in key family planning indicators.


PMA2020/Kinshasa is led by the University of Kinshasa’s School of Public Health in collaboration with Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. The population-based survey was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; the David and Lucille Packard Foundation funded the health facility survey.
