Prior to AFP, Bao-Tram (BT) worked as an Associate Program Officer at Seattle Foundation, guiding philanthropic investments to elevate the civic voice and advocacy of underrepresented communities. BT served on the boards of APACEvotes and Summer Search Seattle, and steering committee of Seattle City Club’s 2017 Civic Health Index. BT is a graduate of the Center for Women & Democracy Leadership Institute and 2017 recipient of the Kicking Up Our Heels Award. BT is a 2009 Gates Millennium Scholar. She received her bachelors degree in Sociology from Whitman College and is completing her Masters of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
