As the Communications Specialist, Christina supports AFP’s communication strategy design and implementation across all AFP program countries, and helps our partners document their advocacy achievements. Most recently, Christina worked in Washington DC where she developed policy and advocacy campaigns to improve reproductive health, rights and justice for women and underserved communities. Prior to joining AFP, Christina worked in rural Kenya developing M&E strategies to improve maternal and child health program management in the region, with Peer Health Exchange as a sexual health peer educator, and at Crusaid, a London-based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping poor and marginalized people affected by HIV/AIDS. Christina is a proud graduate of Boston University, receiving both her MPH in maternal and child health and BA with honors in international relations. She is passionate about reproductive justice, expanding family planning options, and promoting non-stigmatized sexual health care and well-being.
