New Brief Highlights The State Family Planning And Reproductive Health In Zambia

Family planning is one of the most cost-effective interventions to improve women’s health and wellbeing, reduce unintended pregnancies and prevent maternal, infant, and child mortality. Investments in family planning therefore have incredible potential to impact a country’s development trajectory.

Zambia Opportunity Fund partners the Center for Reproductive Health and Education (CRHE) and Marie Stopes Zambia (MSZ) recently published a report entitled Investing in Zambia's Health and Development (September 2016) highlighting the state of family planning and reproductive health in Zambia. The report measures success against Zambia’s Family Planning 2020 (FP2020) commitments and other development goals and highlights areas of needed progress.
